Accused synagogue firebomber facing additonal charges
Additional charges have been lodged against the accused synagogue firebomber after authorities discovered he targeted an additional Jewish facility, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The prosecutor’s office said details will be released at a 2 p.m. press conference today.
The announcement came after approximately 70 synagogues were searched by accelerant-sniffing dogs Wednesday evening and Thursday. The precautionary searches were conducted at synagogues within a 10-mile radius of the accused firebomber’s Lodi home.
